Hello! I am Vikram (Vikramraj Sitpal). Predominantly a (Computer) Systems developer, more importantly a human being. Primarily, I tap keys for a living (but there is a lot more to it). I am a post-graduate from Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh) specializing in Computer Systems & Security with basic knowledge of Machine Learning and Business Management. I’m mainly interested in Operating systems, Storage systems, Computer Architecture, Networks and Distributed systems research and development. I have worked on Embedded systems also. Lately, I have been exploring database systems. And it is awesome! I currently work at Oracle (Redwood Shores) as a database kernel developer in the Virtual Operating Systems team. My long term plan is to contribute to open-source projects and be an active part of the free (libre) open-source community. Please don’t shy away from getting in touch with me! (if you want to talk about systems development, aircrafts, hiking, ships, submarines or bimmers)
